What Can I Do to Help?
You can get involved with our work in many ways as a volunteer, fundraiser or campaigner, but the fact is we need practical help in terms of donations of dry food items and, always important, money to keep going.
Financial Donations
You can donate financially to us as an individual or as part of a corporate fundraising campaign.
For individual donations, you can either give through Goodhub or, if you would prefer, email us to discuss your donation goals.
Some of our donors arrange for a regular monthly donation. This can be set up on our Goodhub platform. Just click the Donate button below.
Other donors choose to donate through our “Adopt a Parcel” campaign. Again, details of this campaign can be found on Goodhub.
Corporate fundraising – we work with a number of companies as part of their Equality, Social and Governance (ESG) commitments. Please visit Fundraising with us for further details.
Donate Food
Join many other donors by donating the food that will go in the food parcels provided to our service users. We take direct donations as well as delivery of online food purchases.
Since our premises are not open every day, please contact us to arrange a suitable time beforehand if you would like to donate food and other household products. This applies to people who want to drop off donations in person as well as people who are arranging for online food purchases to be delivered to Olive Branch Aid.
Our premises are located at Olive Branch Aid, Arch 648, Portslade Rd, London, SW8 3DH (opposite Wandsworth Road station).

What food items can I donate?
OBA accepts long life foods which must be in date. OBA needs supplies of:
- Tinned goods (eg. soups, tinned meat, tinned vegetables, etc.);
- Biscuits: both sweet and savoury types;
- Pasta or cooking sauces;
- Cooking oil;
- Toothbrushes for adults and children;
- Toothpaste (preferably not ‘whitening’ kinds);
- Cleaning products, such as laundry detergent, multi-purpose cleaner and washing-up liquid.
How do I donate in person?
We are not open every day and can only take deliveries by prior arrangement. Please contact us using the contact form if you would like to make a food donation in person and we can arrange a mutually convenient time for you to drop off your donation.
How do I make an online food donation?
We can accept food donations which have been ordered online. We are able to accept deliveries between 4-6pm on Tuesday afternoons and occasionally on other days. All deliveries must be agreed in advance so that we have somebody available to accept the delivery. Please complete the ‘Contact Us Form’ to arrange this.
What household items can I donate?
We have limited capacity to take household items. Please use the contact form provided to let us know if you have items that you feel may be useful to a person or family in need.
