Hello, We Are Olive Branch Aid!
Olive Branch Aid (OBA) is more than a food bank. We offer support in many aspects of people’s lives to help them maintain their self-worth and dignity, despite facing many challenges.
We are a South London-based charity run by volunteers who work together to source, store, pack and deliver food products, daily essentials, toiletries and cleaning products for those who need them, often in emergency situations.
Our service users collect their parcels, by appointment only, from our premises near the Wandsworth Road overground station but, in exceptional circumstances, we can ask our volunteer drivers to deliver provisions within our communities.

OUR MISSION…
is to provide help and support to the most vulnerable in our local communities. We cut through red tape, reach out and act quickly.
We are delighted to announce that, earlier this year, Olive Branch Aid was awarded the Mayor of Lambeth’s Award for Excellence, 2024!
Why Olive Branch Aid?
We work in four London Boroughs: Lambeth, Wandsworth, Southwark and Croydon. Providing more than just food and basic items, we aim to create supportive relationships with those we work with, learn from them and help them navigate through difficult times. This includes help understanding payment options on utility bills, benefits advice, referrals to other agencies as well as general well-being support. If you need help, we are 100% confidential and provide simple forms on this website to get in touch with us.
“I cried when I saw just how much food was in the food parcel. I never saw myself as a vulnerable person as I am in my twenties and try to manage my health conditions as best as I can, but this has brought me so much hope in a very dark moment. Wishing all of you peace and blessings. I am so grateful to know that people care for my well-being.”
– At a recent drop-in session we heard from a young person we are supporting.

Our Volunteers Get a Lot Out of Working with OBA
“I volunteer because it feels good to help others. Giving money to charities is great, giving your time and sharing experience is very rewarding. I believe in showing kindness and love to all people – which we do at OBA.”
